My god daughter has turned one year old! It is hard to believe it. That time flew by! I looked at many blogs and websites to research Minnie Mouse parties and came up with a multitude I liked. I was able to find a cake that both her mom and I liked, as well as free downloads that others openly shared. As a result, we celebrated last night with family, decked out with Minnie!
I first started with an invitation. I used a free printable and SVG file from Sherry K. Designs (see the file) and cut the head and bow out. I layered it on top of a black card base, pink paper, and fuschia polkadot paper. The personalized label came from The Cutting Cafe and is called the Baby Girl First Birthday Colored Tags/Toppers. The inside invite page is from Catch My Party and was also a free set.
Next I made a banner to hang…
My husband can wrap gifts like no one’s business. Here is one of the gifts he wrapped, using things he swiped from my crafting stash…
We got her a lot of clothes so hubby wrapped each outfit separately and they went into a large gift bag…
Of course I had to make the perfect card to go with the gifts and used the Dress Shaped Card 2 from The Cutting Cafe along with another version of the customize tag used on the invitations …
After looking at a lot of blogs about Minnie Mouse parties, I found a cake I loved at Plus One Blog. Ours looked very close to it.
We also had a cake for her to smash…
And here are the end results…fun decorations and a happy baby…
Everyone had a wonderful time! Thanks so much for sharing it with us by stopping by! Here are the videos I made on the Invitation, Banners, and Card…
Isn’t she just precious.
Thank you! She really is!
