This week for The Cutting Cafe design team project, we were able to choose from any St. Patrick’s Day files. I chose to use the St. Patrick’s Day Think Green Printable Stamp Set and the Lucky Me Printable Stamp Set to make this fun card and covered balsa box. I used Spellbinders dies to cut circles, squares, and the fancy tags. I used recollections and 3 Birds paper. This set is for my husband’s friend Shawn as she really loves St. Patrick’s Day.
The green circle sentiment and shamrock are from the Think Green set. I thought up the sentiment on the fancy tag and thought it was a cute take on the phrase ‘you rock.’
The inside sentiment is from the Lucky Me Printable Stamp Set mentioned above.
The balsa wood box is from Michael’s dollar bin. I just painted the inside and sides, and covered it with paper and edged with flat back pearls. We added a gift card to the inside of the box also.
Please head over to the Cutting Cafe’s Blog on Wednesday afternoon to see all of the design team projects and an opportunity for you to win three files next week. Just leave a comment and you will be eligible! Thanks for stopping by! Here’s my video…
