St. Patrick’s Day Card and Balsa Box

This week for The Cutting Cafe design team project, we were able to choose from any St. Patrick’s Day files.  I chose to use the St. Patrick’s Day Think Green Printable Stamp Set and the Lucky Me Printable Stamp Set to make this fun card and covered balsa box.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut circles, squares, and the fancy tags.  I used recollections and 3 Birds paper.  This set is for my husband’s friend Shawn as she really loves St. Patrick’s Day.

The green circle sentiment and shamrock are from the Think Green set.  I thought up the sentiment on the fancy tag and thought it was a cute take on the phrase ‘you rock.’

The inside sentiment is from the Lucky Me Printable Stamp Set mentioned above.

The balsa wood box is from Michael’s dollar bin.  I just painted the inside and sides, and covered it with paper and edged with flat back pearls.  We added a gift card to the inside of the box also.
