Tall Present Card and Button and String Envelope

I love Wednesdays as I get to see all my fellow design team member’s projects for the week at The Cutting Cafe!  Everyone is so talented and I get wonderful inspiration from everyone!  Make sure you visit the blog every Wednesday to get a dose of inspiration and a chance to win three free files!  Just make a comment to be eligible for the drawing!

This week we used a wonderful new line of ‘tall’ cards Regina created, along with the new button and string envelope.  I used the Tall Present Shaped Card Template Cutting File.  There are three other ‘tall’ cards available including a flower, a cake, and an ice cream cone!

I really like the way my project turned out.  I gave it to a co-worker for her birthday this week and she loved it.  I used Recollections chevron patterned paper along with pink and purple solid cardstock and a few Recollections epoxy stickers from my stash and it came out wonderfully!  The file comes with ribbons and bows and sentiments, but I used glitter ribbon and my own stamp for this project.  I have also found a use for all the eyelets I got with my Crop-a-dile I got several years ago!

Great festive card. I really like how you added detail to the inside as well as the outside of your card and then carried it over to the envelope. Thanks for the video as well.
