This week for The Cutting Cafe, the theme was boxes! We had a choice of three files to work with, the Card Organizer Box, the Copic Box, and the Dresser Box which I used. This file was so fun. I decided to try giving it a masculine feel but I am going to make another one and really girlie it up! Here are a couple more views…
I used a specialty paper (really it is plastic) from Michaels to cover the box and drawers. The knobs are from balsa boxes from Michaels. I actually made the little lamp from a file from SVG Files. I just shrunk it down to 30% of the original size and that worked perfectly! The mirror is Tim Holtz’s mirror paper. It works like a charm.

Hi Audrey I really liked your dresser you did a fanstanic job I wanted to know how did you keep the mirror panel up.
Thank you! I glued the clock charm to a Tim Holt bingo chip. Then I glued the back of it to the mirror and glued the bottom of it to the dresser. That is what holds it up. If you watch the video I show this. Thanks for stopping by!
You so totally rocked the project again. The basket weave drawers and mirror are awesome and I am loving the top of the dresser.
