I have two scrappy friends that deserve to be thanked and I was behind on doing so. So this weekend I finally made them cards. I think they both turned out nice and I hope they like them. Below is a video view. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Today is my dad’s birthday! Happy birthday Dad! It is also Inspiration Wednesday on The Cutting Cafe Blog, which means new design team projects. Combine the two and you get my project for today! The Little Red Wagon Box Template file is the cutest doggone thing ever! Regina outdid herself with this design! We all got the opportunity to create with it for this week and I can’t wait to see what my fellow team members came up with. So make sure you head over to the cafe later to see all the projects! Now, for my project…
I made the wagon and the boxes that come with the file using the K & Company Confetti line. I just love the way it turned out! I also made a card and a base for the wagon using the Postage Stamp Shaped Card Template. Originally I did not have a base on it, but decided to add it so some of the following photos will be of the wagon before adding it.
The sentiments on the wheels and on the handle are from the Pinwheel Sentiment Template file which is another wonderful and versatile file.

I participated in a gift set swap hosted by Scrapdaworld on YouTube and it was a blast. This was a unique swap in which we created coordinated sets to swap that can be used for projects. We had to create a usable tag…
To the tag we needed to add at least three laces or trims that were 18″ in length…
Next we had to make two stick pins. Instead of just including the stick pins, I decided to cover a balsa box from Michael’s to house my creations…
Next we needed to make a flower…

Gift set swap handmade flowers made with white crepe paper sprayed with Graphite Tattered Angels spray on a large glue dot
And here is the completed set and all of my submissions (there were three others in my group and I made one for the host)…
Here is my video on the swap…

It is Inspiration Wednesday for The Cutting Cafe and you know what that means…new design team projects! This week we were given the Everyday Postage Stamp Printable Set which features a postage stamp shaped card, toppers, and mini postage stamps. I also wanted to participate in an inspirational challenge on YouTube that was due yesterday, so I decided to use the Rejoice in the Lord Always Printable Stamp Set and do a two-fer! So I am using this project for two things! This was a time saver indeed!
I covered a flat canvas board with paper that had copper foiling and just continued with that color. The ribbon and leaves (from picks) under the butterfly are actually some after Christmas sale goodies I got that work any time of the year. I did not want to go too frilly as to try to keep some of the focus on the scripture I used which my favorite – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. My project uses a similar version. Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to watch the video of the project after the photos below.

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful New Year’s! I did with just my hubby and me. We stayed in this year and enjoyed a great dinner and each other’s company. Now I am up making videos and creating. Over on YouTube, I responded to a craft tag started by The CoCo Martha who is a very funny and talented lady who I enjoy watching. She posed nine questions for people to answer to help the crafting community know them better. Below is my video answering those questions.
Next, I am doing my first subscriber giveaway on YouTube and the second video explains all about it. I am so excited! Thanks for visiting and be sure to check out my site tomorrow as I will have my first project for the Cutting Cafe’s Design Team posted! WooHoo!
Welcome to my blog! I am so happy to have finally gotten this site set up as I have been wanting to create a blog for months now. Sometimes you just have to get it done and that is what I have done over the past day. I will focus on crafts primarily, but because I like many things, I can’t promise that this will be just a craft blog. Sometimes you may see a cooking post or something on shopping or fashion. But, those will just be extras for you to enjoy. Thank you for stopping by and, please, come back often and tell others I am here!
