Fancy T-Shirt Shaped Notepad

T-Shirt Shaped Note Pad

This time for my design team project for The Cutting Cafe, we had to pick a shaped card and make it into a notepad. I chose the T-Shirt Shaped Card.  I used my favorites, black and gold to make this fabulous note pad.

I added flat back pearls randomly on the front and added a fringe trim as well as some black and gold rhinestone trim.

I chose to use black paper on the inside which will require the use of a metallic marker.

For this posting of the Design Team Projects for The Cutting Cafe, we focused on word shaped cards that pertain to Valentine’s Day.  I chose to use the 14th Shaped Word Card, which can be versatile to be used not only for Valentine’s Day but for anniversaries, years, or a special date.  I made two different ones.  The first one features sentiments from the This Cake is All Heart, a printable stamp set from The Cutting Cafe.

Jumbo 65th Birthday Card and Gift Card Holder

I am back with another design team project for The Cutting Cafe.  For this posting, we were able to use any file we wanted to.  I chose two to work with, the Birthday Word Gift Card Holder and the Birthday Number Candle Set.

First, one of my staff is turning 65.  I needed a card large enough for everyone in my department to sign, so I made a scalloped card base that is 9″x7″.  I added an embossed panel and holographic gold dot stickers, but wanted the focal point to be the Birthday Number Candles!

I kept the inside plain since many people will be signing it…

Next, I will be giving her a gift card so I wanted something separate for that.  I kept the theme the same with the tone on tone white shimmer paper with gold.  I used gold Dazzle stickers to add accents.

This week at The Cutting Cafe, it was all about jars.  There are many files to choose from but I chose the Jar Shaped Cards file and used the mason jar with window.  I sized it down quite a bit to make them mini.

These work well for swap gifts and exchanges.  Here is a sample of packaging for that purpose…

Blessings Book 

For this posting for The Cutting Cafe, the design team used the Autumn Sentiments Frame Card Printable Stamp Set. I used the Autumn Blessings version to make a blessings book.

What is a blessings book? When you are facing challenges or feeling sad, it is a place to write down the blessings you have received  in your life so you can remind yourself that if God blessed you once, He can bless you again!

Shirt and Tie Father’s Day Card

For my design team project for The Cutting Cafe this week, I used two files, The Shirt and Tie Cutting File and the Different Ways to Say Dad Background Printable Stamp.  I added buttons and metal paper clips that say love you.  The pocket and hankie are part of the file.

I think it came out adorable. Be sure to stop by the blog and see all the design team projects.  This week we could use whatever files we wanted to so there will be quite a variety.  Here are pics of the inside and back.  I used an Anna Griffin die for the Dad on the inside.

Embellishments using just the faces

I am back with a new design team project for The Cutting Cafe Shop!  I made some cute embellishments using the Everyday Elisha Jean and Friends stamp set.  I used the whole doll stamps on some and just the faces on others.

I used scraps from recent projects along with some stickers and foam squares. I have seen many videos making embellishments and decided to try some.  I had fun making them and will make more in the future as it is a good way to use up scraps and use your punches.

3 Tier Cake Box

Hey everyone!  I am excited about this project for The Cutting Cafe!  The design team was given this cute 3 Tier Cake Box file to use.  It is so much fun to do.  I used to decorate cakes so this was just up my alley!

Everyday Elisha Jean Stamp Set Shaker Card

I am back with another project using the Everyday Elisha Jean Stamp Set from The Cutting Cafe Shop!  This time I used the Ruby J. friend a the focus.  I used bright colored paper and the Assorted Card Folds Set 2 – Fold with Circle Window from The Cutting Cafe.

I added clear cardstock (which is also available in The Cutting Cafe Shop) to the window. I made a larger oval and attached my fussy cut Ruby J. to it. In between I added flower sequins and pink seed beads and put together with foam tape.  I love how it came out!
