Calendar Box with Tag Calendar

It is that time to start getting calendars for next year. The Cutting Cafe has a 2020 Calendar Set that is full of calendar options…square, round, journal spots, full sheet, and even tags to hold the round ones as I have used.  Plus there is a new Calendar Holder with Front Box file which I also used.

The box also has a pull out drawer that you can use to hold paper clips, push pins, loose change, mints, whatever you want to store.

There is a little drawer that pulls out.

I made a calendar tag for each month and will just change them out.  I used a pearl brad but it can be fun to change the brad for different occasions.  Also I stored the tags in the holder on the front of it, but that could also be used for a post it note pad if you’d like.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit the blog to see all the versions the design team came up with.

I would also like to say that this will be my last design team post for The Cutting Cafe as the design team is being disbanded for now to allow Regina to focus on some other things.  There will still be new files coming out as usual.  There just won’t be design team posts for now.  I appreciate the six years that I have been on the team and will still be doing projects featuring the fabulous files from The Cutting Cafe.  Please continue to visit often to see what is new!

Most of what I post on this site have been design team projects.  I do many other things and will start posting more of my other projects and swaps here. So keep visiting me too!

As always, before you go, here is my video…

Birthdays and Anniversaries Calendar Keeper Book – The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

Birthday and Anniversary Calendar Keeper
It is time for a new design team post for The Cutting Cafe!  This time we focused on two calendar sets, 2015 Day Calendar Printable Set and 2015 Calendar Printable Set which I used.  I also used the Mini Colored Calendar Card Set.

I added bling swirls on the front and used a stretchy ribbon belly band to keep it closed.  I printed my own title and used Spellbinders dies to cut and layer it.  The animal print paper was a gift from my girl Tmika.  I covered chipboard for the covers.

Then when it opens, it is accordion folded…

Fun With Blocks Countdown Calendar – The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

Countdown Calendar

Countdown Calendar

This week at The Cutting Cafe, we had a fun file to spark our creative juices.  The Fun With Blocks file is so versatile and come with so many different options and variations!  The possibilities are just endless!  Make sure you check out all the design team projects on the blog on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday.  Be sure to leave a comment as you just might win three free files in next week’s drawing!

I chose to make a countdown calendar with the file.  The blocks are numbered on each side.  You can countdown to anything, a birthday, vacation, anniversary, etc.  All you do is move the blocks to show the numbers you need and go down a number each day.  I made it in a spring color since I am REALLY wanting spring to be here now.    Of course it is blinged out with mesh bling trim and glitter letters.  The sentiment says everything you can imaging is real.   I thought that would give me motivation for the countdown…whatever the countdown will be!  Here are a couple other views…
