Hey Chick card using holographic foiling

For this week at The Cutting Cafe, we used the new Animal Friends printable stamp set.  It has a lot of cute images and sentiments.  I chose to use the chick  image.  You can pick up this cute set later today when the design team posting goes live for only 99 cents, only through the design team post!!!  Click here to see the post when it goes live this afternoon.  Leave a comment and you will also be eligible to win three files on the next design team post on March 7th.

I printed it out on my laser printer which allowed me to then use my mini Minc machine to foil it with some holographic foil I have in my stash.  I have a holographic paper pad, some holographic bling shapes, like the teardrops used here, and two sizes of holographic flowers.  Holographic, holographic, holographic lol!

I printed and holographic foiled the image which is from the printable stamp set and added holographic flowers around it.

Cute holographic flowers!

For the inside, I just used a cut apart from the paper pad.

Fall Themed Milk Cartons – The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

7 Oct

Hello there!  It has been a month since I posted anything!  I am sorry for the wait!  But today I have two cute milk cartons I made for The Cutting Cafe‘s Design Team!  These will house goodies for my god children. I used the Halloween and Fall Milk Carton cutting file.  The file comes with several cut outs.  I used the leaf and the pumpkin and added acetate to the window cutout.

My god son is nine and absolutely hates glitter so I still had to bling his up, just with acrylic pieces…

My god daughter is 3 1/2 and loves glitter!  So for hers, I used glitter paper and some glittered embellishments…

Be sure to stop by the Cutting Cafe Blog and see all of the design team inspiration which we post on the 7th and 21st of each month.  Leave a comment and you will be entered into a drawing to win three free files of your choice.  The winner is randomly pulled on the next design team posting date.  Plus we love to read your comments!

Fall Milk Carton

                       Fall Milk Carton

It’s milk cartons galore for The Cutting Cafe’s Design Team this week!  We were asked to use one of three milk carton cutting files for our projects this time.  These cute cartons can be used for candy, little embellishments, jewelry, or whatever you would like to put in them.  I used the Halloween and Fall Milk Carton and I am just using it as a decoration for my desk at work for fall.

The file comes together very quickly.  If you don’t have an electronic cutting machine, you have the option of cutting by hand as the files all come in a PDF format.

Post It Notes Box Set – The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

7 Aug

Post It Note BoxIt is time for another project for The Cutting Cafe!  This time we had two files we could choose from, The Mini Note Pad and Card Set Printable Stamp Set or The Post It Note Box and Cover Set which I used.  The file comes with covers for the Post It Notes, a couple versions of a belly band that you can add, plus labels.  I love how it turned out.  It will make a cute little gift for someone.

Make sure you visit The Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of each month as our design team projects are posted those dates.  Leave a comment and you will be entered into a drawing to win three files of your choice!  Plus we love reading your comments!

I had paper in my stash that was double-sided and the color combo was a bit different so I thought I might as well pull something old out to use it.  The red with white circles used on the label on the front is the other side of the pink paisley paper.  So the inside is finished instead of just being white.

Here are a few different views…
