Guess what?! It is Christmas in July at The Cutting Cafe! Both design team posts this month will feature Christmas. This week we are taking any of the animal shaped cards and turning them into a Christmas theme. I chose to work with the Owl Shaped Card Set.

Thanks for stopping by and as usual, here’s my video…
First, one of my staff is turning 65. I needed a card large enough for everyone in my department to sign, so I made a scalloped card base that is 9″x7″. I added an embossed panel and holographic gold dot stickers, but wanted the focal point to be the Birthday Number Candles!
I kept the inside plain since many people will be signing it…

Next, I will be giving her a gift card so I wanted something separate for that. I kept the theme the same with the tone on tone white shimmer paper with gold. I used gold Dazzle stickers to add accents.
Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe’s Blog on the 7th and 21st of each month as that is when the design team postings go up. Make sure to leave a comment as on the next posting a name is randomly drawn from the last posting’s comment and that person wins three files of their choice!
Thank you so much for stopping by! As always, before you go, here is my video showing more detail…
We are doing something a bit different for our Design Team post for The Cutting Cafe. We are sharing a look at our crafting spaces today. Although my room is a total hot mess right now, I found a picture of it cleaned up. Here is what I see when I walk in.
A little over a year and a half ago, I cleaned up and rearranged my room. It is still set up that way and I did a craft room reveal on YouTube. Since my room is too much of a mess to show right now, I will share that video, which also features two of my DT members and very good friends who were visiting for a crafty weekend.
But before I share the video, just a couple of things. Make sure you head over to The Cutting Cafe Blog to see the craft rooms of some of our DT members (and I am sure you will see Regina’s fabulous room – she is the owner of The Cutting Cafe and her room was featured in HGTV magazines and a couple of others). We do post on the 7th and 21st of each month. When you visit, leave a comment and you will be entered into a drawing to win three files of your choice.
This week I combined Man Card Mondays and my The Cutting Cafe design team project. Baseball season just started so I decided to use that theme as this was a free week and we could choose any file we wanted to.
Make sure you visit the Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of each month to see all of the design team postings. Leave a comment and you just might win three files of your choice!

Cassette Card I Made Last Year
It is so stinkin’ cool! I just love it. So if you have a retro man, the album or the cassette version, either of these cards would be great to make and give. Thanks for stopping by and I will see you next week for another Man Cards Monday! Take a look at my video before you go…
Yep, these earrings are made of paper! For The Cutting Cafe design team, we got to work with the Paper Bead Set file and I must say these were fun and easy. The file comes with 9 different bead shaped and sizes and a small box . I decided to make earrings and will probably make a necklace or bracelet with the other beads (because they were too fun to make to just stop at two).
I have displayed them on a jewelry card made from the Jewelry Holder Set. It has several different styles of earring holders, and a couple boxes.

You can see some of the wrapping detail on this close up shot.
