Pumpkin Pillow Boxes

Pumpkin Pillow Boxes

It has been a while.  Hello!  Today for my The Cutting Cafe design team project, I have made some cute pillow boxes with pumpkin cutouts.  I used the Pumpkin version of the Halloween Pillow Boxes.

I added an optional layer around the pumpkin and backed the opening with acetate.  I added a resin leaf at the bottom for an accent.

For this project for The Cutting Cafe design team, we worked with the Fun With Rosettes file.  It has the option to make various sized rosettes and with a straight or scalloped edge.  I also used the Gift Card Holder Set file.

Steampunk Timeless Tote and Wallet

My Steampunk version of the Our Daily Bread Designs Timeless Tote and Wallet Dies

I am in the Steampunk Fantasy Collaboration with Poetspice on YouTube, which runs from July 25 through August 29, 2018.  I am usually a clean and simple crafter but like the steampunk genre and have a good stash of steampunk paper, stamps, and embossing folder and thought this would be a great way to use some of my stash.  I also have had the Timeless Tote and Petite Wallet die sets from Our Daily Bread Designs for a couple months and have not had a chance to play with it.  So, why not a steampunk version of the purse?  This is how it came out…

Christmas in July-3D Ornament-The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

20 Jul

                              3D Ornament

Hey everyone! I am here with a quick project for The Cutting Cafe.  This post we are still doing Christmas in July.  I chose the 3D Ornament file as it is a very quick but cute.

I am on vacation and cut the pieces out to take with me to put together.  The set has circles and an ornament base.  You fold the circles in half and glue together side by side.  Use more circles for a fuller ornament.

When I return home, I will glitter the edges which will add a glittery touch.  Tie a ribbon or hanger on the top and you are finished.

Be sure to stop by The Cutting Cafe Blog and leave a comment.  You will be eligible for a drawing on the August 7th post for three free files.  Thanks for stopping by.  Before you go, here is my video…

Camera Shaped Keepsake Box

Camera Keepsake Box

Hello Everyone!  Thanks for all the wonderful comments on the camera box I created for The Cutting Cafe design team blog hop last week!  As I mentioned, I am giving the Camera Treat Cup Card and Keepsake Box Cutting File and Template file to one person who left a comment letting me know why they liked the file and how they would use it, and they had to follow/subscribe to my blog.

There were three people who actually answered the two questions and followed/subscribed to my blog.  They are:

Carla Hundley

In the old fashion, put the names on pieces of folded paper, mix them up, and pick one method, I chose a winner.

Congratulations to Janja65 who said: I like the design paper you’ve used for the camera, its beautiful!  I would love to make this camera box with a mini album for a friend who is pregnant with a baby girl ❤.

Leave a comment below letting me know you saw this and I will email you the file.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by!
