Mini 3D Shadow Box Card

It has been a while since I posted but I am slowly but surely coming back!  We moved and I haven’t fully unpacked my craft room yet.  But I am digging out things to do cards and projects for.

This card is a design team project for The Cutting Cafe.  It is the 3D Shadow Box Card Template and has many options, different shaped openings, layers, and sentiments.  I chose to alter the size and make it 3 x 3 inches so I can use it as part of a swap that my friend Scrapdaworld is hosting.

Here is the inside…

I added a glitter heart in the window but you can add pictures, sentiments, etc.  Also, if you keep the embellishments relatively flat, you can fold the card flat and put it in an envelope.

Be sure to stop by the blog to see everyone’s design team projects.  We post on the 7th and 21st of each month.  Leave a comment and you will be entered into a drawing to win three free files.

Thanks for stopping by and before you go, here is my video…

Super Twisted Note Card Swap

Super Twisted Note Card Swap

Cards and Envelope Box

My friend Tmika host great swaps all the time on YouTube. The latest one has us using techniques and embellishments.  The 3 x 3 cards had to have a combination of four or more things going on.  I used five techniques…dry embossing, distressing, texture paste stippling, glittering the texture paste, and splattering/ misting, and four embellishments…flowers, punches, twine, and a dazzle sticker.

Here is a close up of the card…
