The design team at The Cutting Cafe is shaking things up this week with fall and Halloween shaker cards!  There are so many to choose from.  Just take a look here and here!

I chose the Pumpkin Shaker Card Template version to use.  I put the shape on a card, but you can also make the whole card pumpkin shaped.

I love the fall colors of this and the shaker has flower and leaf shaped sequins and gold microbeads.  I decorated the inside too.

I managed to get one project done in my quest to finish seven started but yet unfinished mini albums.  This week was hard as I was in Lincoln, NE from Sunday through Thursday afternoon for work.  So there was no crafting time.

But tonight I managed to get to my craft room and get the cover and spine on this one.  The rest was done.

I used a tutorial on YouTube from Papercrafter 45. It is made with the envelope punch board and it has a scored spine, which I had never done.

Last Friday I kicked off a series on YouTube called Finish It Friday.  I challenged myself to get some old craft projects done.  Above is what I finished for week one.  It was almost fail it Friday as I didn’t get to crafting until 7:30 tonight.  But I made it still on Friday!

I also issued a challenge to other crafters.  It is not to late to play!  If you have some unfinished projects, do a video showing them.  Then, each Friday through October 2, show a video of one or more of them finished.  Let me know you did a video and I will watch and comment.  For each Friday you play, you will get one entry.  At the end of the series, I will pull a name to win a great prize package from me!

It’s milk cartons galore for The Cutting Cafe’s Design Team this week!  We were asked to use one of three milk carton cutting files for our projects this time.  These cute cartons can be used for candy, little embellishments, jewelry, or whatever you would like to put in them.  I used the Halloween and Fall Milk Carton and I am just using it as a decoration for my desk at work for fall.

The file comes together very quickly.  If you don’t have an electronic cutting machine, you have the option of cutting by hand as the files all come in a PDF format.

I was approached by a fellow YouTuber, Tina, who is TellHimThankU on YouTube to see if I would like to do a one-on-one swap.  I agreed.  I suggested an inspirational mini album and she suggested a tag instead of a card.  We also were to swap goodies of around $10.

Altered Pill Bottles and Pocket Tags for Crafty Meet Up Weekend

This past Thursday through Sunday , I hosted some of my friends that I met through YouTube!  Scrapdaworld/Tmika, Gemzisle/Sheryl, and Scrap Elegance/Katryce came to visit and we had a blast!  On Friday, Tmika, Sheryl, and I went to the Scrapbook Expo is Schaumberg, IL .  We met up with three other YouTubers, two Elizabeths and an Amy!  We had a blast with them!

Tmika, Sheryl, and I decided to make things for each other as we have in the past.  Katryce decided to come later, but I made one for her also.  We did tags instead of cards and altered pill bottles!   I let the ladies fill their bottles up with resin pieces so they were happy.  Here are some pictures…
