Blessings Book 

For this posting for The Cutting Cafe, the design team used the Autumn Sentiments Frame Card Printable Stamp Set. I used the Autumn Blessings version to make a blessings book.

What is a blessings book? When you are facing challenges or feeling sad, it is a place to write down the blessings you have received  in your life so you can remind yourself that if God blessed you once, He can bless you again!

Apple Treat Cup Card Picture Frame

I created this apple picture frame using the Apple Treat Cup Card file from The Cutting Cafe. The focus for this post is back to school and we could use one of four files. The other three are the Apple Shaped Card, Pencil Treat Cup Card, and the Pencil Shaped Card.

I used the top and the back of the treat cup and backed it with white chip board.  I added an easel on the back.

I left the top open so I can slide a photo inside. I added a gold glittered stem and leaf and a gold sticker that says So Sweet.

Yes, I know July is over, but Christmas is still coming, so get prepared with The Cutting Cafe!  The design team is featuring Christmas projects this week on the blog.  Since we could choose any Christmas file we wanted to, there is sure to be a lot of variety as well as inspiration!  Be sure to leave a comment so that you can be entered into a drawing for three files of your choice which will be announced on the design team post for August 21.

I used the Merry Christmas Word Shaped Card and I love it!  I used bling…paper, trim, embellishments…to make this card sing Merry Christmas!

I am loving this cute gift card holder I made!  I used two stamp sets from The Cutting Cafe Shop, which is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  On the front, I stamped the cardstock with the Birthday Party Background stamp and the make a wish sentiment is from the Birthday Party Fun stamp set.  The base is cut from gold metallic paper.  Here is the back…

Super-sized Polaroid Frame

Hello all!  I am a couple of days late posting my design team project for The Cutting Cafe, but it is too cute not to share!  This week we could choose any file we wanted to but we had to super-size it, that is, make it larger.

I took the frame from the Polaroid and Camera Fun Set and made it 10″ x 11 3/4″ so it could hold a 8″ x 10″ picture.  I also used my new custom stamp, Fantabulous, from The Cutting Cafe Shop.  I added some die cuts, a rosette, and some stickers and I love it.

Birthday Fun Cake Card

I made this cute birthday card for one of my husband’s staff members.  I used the BIrthday Fun Stamp Set from The Cutting Cafe Shop, which is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  You can find clear stamps, ribbons, paper, clear cardstock, and other embellishments.  Also, you can have custom stamps made!

I used the cake and candle from the stamp set and the outline shape SVG file that comes with the set (it comes in PDF and other versions too). I added clear Wink of Stella to give the cake a frosty look and yellow Stickles for the flame.  I used a Spellbinders die set in peach and cream and gold metallic paper on top of a cream base. I added little gold Dazzle gem stickers in each of the circles of the die cut.

The Cutting Cafe Shop is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  The shop sells paper, ribbon, and stamp sets like the Birthday Party Background one that I have used here.  I stamped it with Staz On ink onto clear cardstock, which is also sold at the shop.  I used white paper to better show the stamp but here is what it looks like without it…

This shows the window in the box without the white card that I used to help show the words better.

The actual box is made with the Chinese Take Out Box cutting template.  This can hold candy or a little gift.  And it is quick and easy to do!  I just added flowers on the sides but you can attach a handle using brads as the file even cuts the holes for you to use.

Hey Everyone! I am here to share a couple new stamp sets that are available from The Cutting Cafe Shop, which is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  These are great for all those birthday cards that you need to make and also for layouts or other projects.

I pulled out my embossing powder, which I haven’t used in eons and stamped the background using the Birthday Party Background stamp.  I used one of the frame cut files that comes with the stamps and put the stamped piece on foam tape for a little dimension.  The paper had copper foil, so I used copper embossing powder.  The heart balloon and party hat are made from the Birthday Party Fun stamp set and outline cut files that come with it.  I embossed those also.

I like the way these came out.  Make sure you also check out the shop as Regina is now doing custom stamps!  Yes, that is correct.  If you want to get a special stamp made, just provide the artwork and submit it with payment.

Hey Everybody!  The 4th of July is coming soon and we got to design in red, white, and blue for out design team project for The Cutting Cafe!  I chose to use the Star Box.  It came out so cute!  You can give little treats as gifts for adults or kids.

Shirt and Tie Father’s Day Card

For my design team project for The Cutting Cafe this week, I used two files, The Shirt and Tie Cutting File and the Different Ways to Say Dad Background Printable Stamp.  I added buttons and metal paper clips that say love you.  The pocket and hankie are part of the file.

I think it came out adorable. Be sure to stop by the blog and see all the design team projects.  This week we could use whatever files we wanted to so there will be quite a variety.  Here are pics of the inside and back.  I used an Anna Griffin die for the Dad on the inside.
