Birthday Themed Chinese Take Out Box

The Cutting Cafe Shop is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  The shop sells paper, ribbon, and stamp sets like the Birthday Party Background one that I have used here.  I stamped it with Staz On ink onto clear cardstock, which is also sold at the shop.  I used white paper to better show the stamp but here is what it looks like without it…

This shows the window in the box without the white card that I used to help show the words better.

The actual box is made with the Chinese Take Out Box cutting template.  This can hold candy or a little gift.  And it is quick and easy to do!  I just added flowers on the sides but you can attach a handle using brads as the file even cuts the holes for you to use.

Hey Everybody!  The 4th of July is coming soon and we got to design in red, white, and blue for out design team project for The Cutting Cafe!  I chose to use the Star Box.  It came out so cute!  You can give little treats as gifts for adults or kids.

Shirt and Tie Father’s Day Card

For my design team project for The Cutting Cafe this week, I used two files, The Shirt and Tie Cutting File and the Different Ways to Say Dad Background Printable Stamp.  I added buttons and metal paper clips that say love you.  The pocket and hankie are part of the file.

I think it came out adorable. Be sure to stop by the blog and see all the design team projects.  This week we could use whatever files we wanted to so there will be quite a variety.  Here are pics of the inside and back.  I used an Anna Griffin die for the Dad on the inside.

Hey everyone!  I am excited about this project for The Cutting Cafe!  The design team was given this cute 3 Tier Cake Box file to use.  It is so much fun to do.  I used to decorate cakes so this was just up my alley!

Everyday Elisha Jean Stamp Set Shaker Card

I am back with another project using the Everyday Elisha Jean Stamp Set from The Cutting Cafe Shop!  This time I used the Ruby J. friend a the focus.  I used bright colored paper and the Assorted Card Folds Set 2 – Fold with Circle Window from The Cutting Cafe.

I added clear cardstock (which is also available in The Cutting Cafe Shop) to the window. I made a larger oval and attached my fussy cut Ruby J. to it. In between I added flower sequins and pink seed beads and put together with foam tape.  I love how it came out!

Hello!  It is design team time for The Cutting Cafe!  This time we were given the opportunity to work with word or shape books.  There are many to choose from in the store but since graduation is coming and I have a cousin that is graduating, I chose the Grad Word Book.

It comes with the pages and the single letters to use on top as an additional layer.  I used his school colors and kept it simple enough so that he can put a few pictures from the day in it.  Here are a pictures of the inside…

For our design team projects this week for The Cutting Cafe, we got to work with clear cardstock, which is something that is carried in the new sister store The Cutting Cafe Shop.

I used the Mini Heart Lunch Bag and love the way it turned out!  I also made the Bow Tie with a Slit out of the clear cardstock to decorate the front.  Here are more pictures…

It’s Time for Green – Gift Card Holders – The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

This time for our design team project for The Cutting Cafe, we could choose any file we wanted to.  However, we had to use the color green.  Since spring is coming and so is St. Patrick’s Day, green is very appropriate!  I had gift cards to give to staff for Employee Appreciation Day and wanted a cute and easy way to give them.  So I used the Gift Card and Money Holder Set.

Birthday Bendi Card – Design Team Project for The Cutting Cafe

Bendi Card

Bendi cards feature bands that bend or arc out from the base of a card.  The ways that people decorate them are endless.  You will see quite a variety of designs this week from the Design Team members of The Cutting Cafe as we used the Bendi – Bendy Card Template and Cutting File for our projects.

I stayed relatively simple for my birthday card.  I just added flowers, a gold glittered branch piece, and an Anna Griffin layered sticker.  I also added some acrylic bling dots and a crown which goes well with the queen for a day sentiment on the sticker.

Looking down on the card, you can see what the curved bands/flaps look like.  Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the card with the bands opened up.  They essentially are flaps that tuck into slots on each side of the card, causing the bending of the flaps.

I used the back to house my sentiment, but you could also put it on the inside.
