Shirt and Tie Father’s Day Card

For my design team project for The Cutting Cafe this week, I used two files, The Shirt and Tie Cutting File and the Different Ways to Say Dad Background Printable Stamp.  I added buttons and metal paper clips that say love you.  The pocket and hankie are part of the file.

I think it came out adorable. Be sure to stop by the blog and see all the design team projects.  This week we could use whatever files we wanted to so there will be quite a variety.  Here are pics of the inside and back.  I used an Anna Griffin die for the Dad on the inside.

Although Father’s Day has past, I wanted to show the cute card and gift card holder I made for my dad!  The gift card holder was a 3D grill!  I made the card with an overlay that looked like a grilling sheet.  I loved it and so did he!  Here is a view of it opened…

Hello all!  Thanks for stopping by!  Today I am sharing my card for my dad which is doubling ad my design team project for The Cutting Cafe.  Regina created the Card in a Box Template and the Card in a Box Embellishment Set to enhance the card.  I also used two sentiments from the For My Tie-Rific Dad Printable Stamp Set.  As I have said before I love making these.  They are not hard to do and I show you how to put them together in this video.

Classic Car Shaped Card

It is Wednesday and time for another Cutting Cafe design team project. This week’s theme…Father’s Day of course.  We had wonderful files to work with this week.  I chose to use the new Classic Car Shaped Card and it was so much fun to do!  I absolutely love the shaped of the card, and all the trim that comes in the file.  I chose to use silver metallic paper for all of the chrome and I added white-walled tires!  The possibilities are endless with this file because there are so many pieces.

The other files we could use were the Shirt and Tie Cutting File  Template Shaped Card, and the Cruisin’ by to Say Hi Car Set Printable Stamps.
