Super-sized Polaroid Frame

Hello all!  I am a couple of days late posting my design team project for The Cutting Cafe, but it is too cute not to share!  This week we could choose any file we wanted to but we had to super-size it, that is, make it larger.

I took the frame from the Polaroid and Camera Fun Set and made it 10″ x 11 3/4″ so it could hold a 8″ x 10″ picture.  I also used my new custom stamp, Fantabulous, from The Cutting Cafe Shop.  I added some die cuts, a rosette, and some stickers and I love it.

I made this cute birthday card for one of my husband’s staff members.  I used the BIrthday Fun Stamp Set from The Cutting Cafe Shop, which is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  You can find clear stamps, ribbons, paper, clear cardstock, and other embellishments.  Also, you can have custom stamps made!

I used the cake and candle from the stamp set and the outline shape SVG file that comes with the set (it comes in PDF and other versions too). I added clear Wink of Stella to give the cake a frosty look and yellow Stickles for the flame.  I used a Spellbinders die set in peach and cream and gold metallic paper on top of a cream base. I added little gold Dazzle gem stickers in each of the circles of the die cut.

The Cutting Cafe Shop is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  The shop sells paper, ribbon, and stamp sets like the Birthday Party Background one that I have used here.  I stamped it with Staz On ink onto clear cardstock, which is also sold at the shop.  I used white paper to better show the stamp but here is what it looks like without it…

This shows the window in the box without the white card that I used to help show the words better.

The actual box is made with the Chinese Take Out Box cutting template.  This can hold candy or a little gift.  And it is quick and easy to do!  I just added flowers on the sides but you can attach a handle using brads as the file even cuts the holes for you to use.

Hey Everybody!  The 4th of July is coming soon and we got to design in red, white, and blue for out design team project for The Cutting Cafe!  I chose to use the Star Box.  It came out so cute!  You can give little treats as gifts for adults or kids.

For my design team project for The Cutting Cafe this week, I used two files, The Shirt and Tie Cutting File and the Different Ways to Say Dad Background Printable Stamp.  I added buttons and metal paper clips that say love you.  The pocket and hankie are part of the file.

I think it came out adorable. Be sure to stop by the blog and see all the design team projects.  This week we could use whatever files we wanted to so there will be quite a variety.  Here are pics of the inside and back.  I used an Anna Griffin die for the Dad on the inside.

Embellishments using just the faces

I am back with a new design team project for The Cutting Cafe Shop!  I made some cute embellishments using the Everyday Elisha Jean and Friends stamp set.  I used the whole doll stamps on some and just the faces on others.

I used scraps from recent projects along with some stickers and foam squares. I have seen many videos making embellishments and decided to try some.  I had fun making them and will make more in the future as it is a good way to use up scraps and use your punches.

Hey everyone!  I am excited about this project for The Cutting Cafe!  The design team was given this cute 3 Tier Cake Box file to use.  It is so much fun to do.  I used to decorate cakes so this was just up my alley!

I am back with another project for The Cutting Cafe Shop, which is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe.  You can find the cute stamp set, Everyday Elisha Jean and Friends, that I am featuring there along with other stamp sets, paper, and embellishments.

I had some wallet photos from my goddaughter’s one-year-old photo shoot and wanted to display them in some way other than in an album.  I found a wood printer tray, painted it, added patterned paper, pictures, and embellishments.  The Elisha Jean stamps reminded me of her and how she wears her hair so I thought they would work in sweetly!

I am back with another project using the Everyday Elisha Jean Stamp Set from The Cutting Cafe Shop!  This time I used the Ruby J. friend a the focus.  I used bright colored paper and the Assorted Card Folds Set 2 – Fold with Circle Window from The Cutting Cafe.

I added clear cardstock (which is also available in The Cutting Cafe Shop) to the window. I made a larger oval and attached my fussy cut Ruby J. to it. In between I added flower sequins and pink seed beads and put together with foam tape.  I love how it came out!

Grad Word Album – The Cutting Cafe Design Team Project

Hello!  It is design team time for The Cutting Cafe!  This time we were given the opportunity to work with word or shape books.  There are many to choose from in the store but since graduation is coming and I have a cousin that is graduating, I chose the Grad Word Book.

It comes with the pages and the single letters to use on top as an additional layer.  I used his school colors and kept it simple enough so that he can put a few pictures from the day in it.  Here are a pictures of the inside…
