Hey everyone! I am excited about this project for The Cutting Cafe! The design team was given this cute 3 Tier Cake Box file to use. It is so much fun to do. I used to decorate cakes so this was just up my alley!
The layers actually open so you can put a little something something in them as a gift. Check out my video below to see how the layers open. Here are more views of it…

Hello! It is design team time for The Cutting Cafe! This time we were given the opportunity to work with word or shape books. There are many to choose from in the store but since graduation is coming and I have a cousin that is graduating, I chose the Grad Word Book.
It comes with the pages and the single letters to use on top as an additional layer. I used his school colors and kept it simple enough so that he can put a few pictures from the day in it. Here are a pictures of the inside…

Altered Notebook featuring Elisha Jean Stamp from The Cutting Cafe Shop
Today I am featuring the new clear stamp set, Everyday Elisha Jean & Friends, from The Cutting Cafe Shop which is the sister store to The Cutting Cafe. Regina, the owner, has translated some of the printable stamps from the original store into clear stamps. And when I tell you they stamp so smoothly it’s like butta, I really mean it.
I used a firework paper to cover the notebook, added bling, the word dream, and Elisha Jean, the cute doll stamp. The sentiment also came from the set. I paper pieced her dress, bows, and socks.
On the inside covers, I added pink glitter paper and stamped the dolls on every few pages…
i covered the inside covers with hot pink glitter paper.
I stamped the girls on every few pages. Here is the first one.

My friend Tmika host great swaps all the time on YouTube. The latest one has us using techniques and embellishments. The 3 x 3 cards had to have a combination of four or more things going on. I used five techniques…dry embossing, distressing, texture paste stippling, glittering the texture paste, and splattering/ misting, and four embellishments…flowers, punches, twine, and a dazzle sticker.
Here is a close up of the card…

As always, packaging is a big part of a swap. Here is how I packaged mine…

My mom helped by picking out the doodads I gave my swap partners. Thanks mom! Lastly, here is my video. Thanks so much for stopping by!
This week’s project for The Cutting Cafe is made from the Christmas Treat Cup Cards file, but this is a bonus ornament that is not a card! It is so cute and I can see many thing other than an ornament. If you add some hands and numbers around the rim, it could be a clock!
Side View
It has a nice depth to it so you can get a good number of treats in it. You can use resin pieces like I did or you can add candy or nuts also.
The back has a slide up tab to allow the goodies to come out.
This is very easy to make and the card versions are also easy to do. You can make these without an electronic cutting machine as they come in PDF versions also!
Make sure you stop by The Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of each month to see our design team posts. Leave a comment and you will be included in a drawing to win three free files!
My friend Tmika who is Scrapdaworld on YouTube hosted another great swap featuring gift tags. I made a shaker window scene for my tag, including curtains, snow, and a deer.
Window Scene Tag
Back of tag
Basically we had to make a shaped tag using at least two embellishments and it had to have to and from on the back. I placed my tags on a matted card.
The deer is more visible in this picture.
Then, I bagged it in a clear bag and added a candy cane striped clothes pin with a snowflake added to it. In the back a bag of goodies is attached.
This is how the tags were packaged.
I really like how my tags came out and I hope the ladies in my swap group like them too. Thanks for stopping by. Here’s my video giving more details…

The design team at The Cutting Cafe is shaking things up this week with fall and Halloween shaker cards! There are so many to choose from. Just take a look here and here!
I chose the Pumpkin Shaker Card Template version to use. I put the shape on a card, but you can also make the whole card pumpkin shaped.
I love the fall colors of this and the shaker has flower and leaf shaped sequins and gold microbeads. I decorated the inside too.
Make sure you stop by The Cutting Cafe Blog to see what the design team members came up with. We post on the 7th and 21st of each month. Stop by, get inspired, and leave a comment! We love reading them and you get a chance to win three free files of your choice when you do!
As always for my design team projects, here is my video! Thanks for stopping by!
I entered a swap hosted by my friend Tmika who is Scrapdaworld on YouTube. It was the sweet treat postcard and dangle swap and we had to make a 4 x 6 postcard with a sweet treat theme and a coordinating dangle. Here is what I came up with.
The charm is something I have never done. The scalloped diamond and the cake charms are made from patterned paper cut out on, my Silhouette Cameo. I cut each twice and then cut acetate pieces to cover it an make it sturdy.
