This week at The Cutting Cafe, it was all about jars. There are many files to choose from but I chose the Jar Shaped Cards file and used the mason jar with window. I sized it down quite a bit to make them mini.
These work well for swap gifts and exchanges. Here is a sample of packaging for that purpose…

Yep, these earrings are made of paper! For The Cutting Cafe design team, we got to work with the Paper Bead Set file and I must say these were fun and easy. The file comes with 9 different bead shaped and sizes and a small box . I decided to make earrings and will probably make a necklace or bracelet with the other beads (because they were too fun to make to just stop at two).
I have displayed them on a jewelry card made from the Jewelry Holder Set. It has several different styles of earring holders, and a couple boxes.
Paper Bead Earrings
You can see some of the wrapping detail on this close up shot.

Welcome to the third installment of my YouTube series Man Card Mondays! Today I am focusing on adding a touch of metallic on cards with foil. But, I am not using foiled cardstock. I went to my kitchen and got out some good ‘ole aluminum foil!
The silver front is embossed aluminum foil.
If you are not a huge user of foil, then you just might not want to buy a whole pad of paper, or spend $2 on one sheet. Well, aluminum foil can help you out. It can be embossed, die cut, punched, alcohol inked, and as I found out, can be cut in an electronic cutting machine.
Here is the first panel. I embossed the red cardstock with a metal plate pattern.
The card fully opened with a pocket for a gift card.
I also made a second card. I don’t have a sentiment on it as I don’t know what I am going to use it for yet. But I cut the tools out with my Silhouette Cameo. They came out great!
The tools are cut from aluminum foil.
I give a few tips and show how you can color the aluminum foil in my video below. Thanks for stopping by!

I have started a new series on my Sewgoodall YouTube channel in response to a question I asked on a recent subscriber giveaway. What would you like to see me create? The overwhelming answer was masculine cards. So, I started a series to give tips and inspiration to others who may struggle to make them.
Masculine Valentines’s Day Card
The first episode debuted today and featured a Valentine’s Day card. I used a few techniques such as embossing on cardstock and acetate, off setting the heart, and adding metal pieces, all things that work for masculine cards.
You can see the embossing better here.
Dimensional Clear Sticker
Here is the sentiment I created.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to join me every Monday (for at least a few weeks) for Man Card Mondays! Before you go, here is the first episode…
Hello everyone! This week at The Cutting Cafe, the design team is all about Valentine’s Day. Since we all have men in our lives, I decided to make my project with the men in mind.
I used the Mailbox Template and Cutting File Set. There are two mailbox versions. I used the second one and used non-traditional colors to give it a more masculine feel, as well as some brads that look like screw heads.
I used the patterned paper on the sides also.
I used some of the printable sentiments that come with the set on the back…

Happy New Year! Welcome to my first post of 2017. This post marks my fourth anniversary as a design team member for The Cutting Cafe! Check out my very first post for the team here. I still have that project proudly displayed in my craft room! I have loved bringing you projects for the shop and hope to continue to bring you inspiration for a while to come!
I used additional Spellbinders shapes on the inside and matted a second sentiment from the file.
Here is a close up of the inside sentiment.
Here is one more view of the front of the card…
